Tyne Cot

when you left
for the front
you were
living heroes
and now
you are on top
of the hill
where only
poppies

blow...

HARP

Reach for the sparrow
Avoid the shadows of commerce
Paint goodwill in forgetting
The arcane, and make flowers
Reel like harps upon the wind
